Metsäkartano Youth Centre in a nutshell

•    Metsäkartano is a youth centre and a nature holiday resort in Rautavaara, in the Finnish Lakeland area and in the nothern savo region of Finland.

In assossiation with cooperators also horse and dog sled rides.
•   The activity building Savotta offers additional functions in the fields of sports, arts and crafts. The big gym hall is suitable for archery, dancing, floor ball, volleyball, basket ball, badminton and self-defense courses and there is also a 10,3 meter high climbing wall and ceiling. Chapel, ceramics workshop, bone, wood and other workshops, a darkroom for photographers, a roomy lounge for party goers and disco.
•    11 saunas: One big beach sauna (with separate saunas for men and women - 1 wooden, 1 electric), one small beach sauna, sauna in every holiday appartment and also in Metsäpirtti, Metsäkämppä and Justeeri.
